A coastal holiday home which involved several elements of horticultural and construction work. The client wanted some screening of a neighbouring house, which was achieved with the planting of pleached crab apples. The client also wanted a romantic rose arch, which was developed by building a green oak pergola, over which the roses would grow. Other work included advice on the development of an extensive herbaceous border, planting of bulbs in grass under established trees, and provision of beautiful locally-sourced finials for the crab apple supporting posts.
