A simple reworking of the garden of a holiday cottage in Bythburgh, Suffolk. The client requested that the existing planting be improved to reflect the true nature of the location of the cottage, right next to the estuary, and be able to stand up to the harsh winter weather. The plants chosen included euphorbia, lavender, salvia and rosemary. All plants were protected with a thick mulch of gravel, which reflected the coastal location.
